System upgrade started March 23

We will be taking the system offline for maintenance starting Thursday, 23 March. We will be updating significant parts of the system software and are hoping the system to be more stable and up-to-date after the break. We expect the system to be back in production on Thursday afternoon, 6 April.

The day before the maintenance break starts, we will have selected users performing large-scale runs on the system, meaning the compute resources will be unavailable for other users. Still, storage and login nodes will be working as usual.

We will make a maintenance reservation to ensure no jobs are running when the service break starts. Shorter jobs may run before the break if they can finish before the start of the maintenance.
